Answers: No..because when you start eating again you will pick up that weight.

juice contains lots of sugar

no juice contains a lot of sugar and calories
BUT all natural juice wont hav added sugars and if it has a lot of vitamins and antioxidants then it is good. But i wouldnt recoomend drinking only juice

um no. If you want to loose 9 pounds of water weight, feel sick to your stomach, tired, and grumpy, and then the second you put a morsil of food in your mouth gain all the weight back you lost plus an extra 5 pounds than yes its a great diet. Celebritys do this diet to get ready for a photo shoot they get rid of extra water in their body than once their event or whatever they needed to be smaller for is done they go back to regular lifestyle.

This will do nothing for you. Plus too much sugar very bad. You might as well go anorexic and stop eating all together.

unnatural juice contains alot of sugar and such.
recommand you just to do exercises and cardio, it's the best way. and that will definitly work for sure.

I think the only thing Juice diets are good for is ridding your body of water weight. They are a good way to start a diet -preparing it for a new way of eating and living, but just doing a juice diet alone won't do anything but get rid of water weight...which comes right back on once you start eating again.

All natural juice does have many good nutrients, as stated before, but the level of nutrients does NOT decrease the level of calories in juice as a result of the sugar in them.

The idea of juice diets is often to make you feel full by filling you up with liquid so you feel less hungry. But you can also do that with unsweetened tea or water, both of which have 0 calories or diet drinks (although these are said to have negative cardiovascular and bone-marrow-related health affects even though they help you lose weight).

Diets in general are not good. Especially one that focuses on Just carbs or just juice, etc. What you need is healthy way to lose weight that incorporates your total body health. Check out my yahoo group for more info.

Juice fasts - NOT diets - are fine if you do them sparingly and safely.

During a juice fast, you should only drink fresh fruit and vegetable juices that come out of a juicer (don't even THINK about purchasing anything from the store. even if it claims to be all-natural, it's not. the pasturization process has altered the nutritional content. not a good choice).
You will want to balance the fruit and vegetable juices - don't drink too much of one kind. You also want to drink plenty of water as the juice brings harmful toxins out of your blood and organs...the water is needed to wash that away.
Before the juice fast, eliminate certain items from your diet. It will make the juice fast easier on your system. For example on Monday, eliminate red meat. Tuesday eliminate pork, Wednesday, chicken, Thursday fish, Friday all animal products (cheese, yogurt, milk). During the week, eat light foods - steamed vegetables, fruit for snacks, brown rice, salads, etc. Cut out processed foods and stimulants (such as coffee, alcohol, etc.) You should also cut out soda...drink water, broth or green tea. By Friday, eat vegetable soups all day to prepare your body for the limited amount of solid food you will receive. Start the fast on Saturday and end it on Sunday. Then the next week, reverse the order and slowly incorporate things back into your diet until you're finihsed.
The great thing about a juice fast is that you can target certain illnesses/conditions based on what you juice. (a good juice book can explain that).
Fasts have been going on for millions of years and they can be safe if done correctly.
I've just scratched the surface here...do some more research about it if you're really interested.
Good luck!
