Weight loss excersize question.?!
Question: Ok so I am a 30 year old woman who needs to lose 40-50 lbs. I Finally got my butt to the gym last week 5 out of seven days, while there i walked 2 miles at a fast pace on the tread mill and after that i did 30 min on the eliptical trainer... according to both machines added together i burned 500-600 calories each day. (i know the machines are slightly inaccurate) anyways... is this enough or two little? I am not even worried about getting toned yet... ill do that later. I just want to shed the lbs... I have no work out buddies and the trainers at my gym suck so any advice would be wonderful! Thanks

I've been going to the gym for 2 weeks now and I'm up to 3 miles a day on one or the other equipment. I've lost 10 pounds but I really notice a big difference in my body. It's like the fat is just melting off. I do Atkins on top of that but I think I may be building lean muscle as well. So that being said, muscle weighs more than fat, so I may have lost more fat than I think. At this rate I'll be at my goal weight by summer! Keep at it and you will be well on your way! Good Luck!
Burning 500-600calories is enough to loss ur weight.to get good results u also try yoga which shows noticibly gr8 change.i was 70 kgs before n after doing yoga i came to 60 in jst 2 months.it also provides mental peace too.

The best way to lose some weight is:
You get out of bed, drink a coffee, don't eat anything and do cardio for about 30 minutes...
You will be using only the fat in your body for energy, so you will lose weight much faster ;-)
500-600 calories a day is great. keep it up and always do the same everyday.also don
