Will Losing an Additional 15-20 lbs make me look slimmer? Weight loss tips pleas!

Question: I'm a 20 year old girl who stands 4' 10". Since October of last year, I was tired of being overweight and wanted to lose the fat. I eat healthy foods, drink 8-12 cups of water a day, and exercise a good amount every day (or sometimes 4-5 times a week). No soda, sweets, junk food, fast food, nothing--all healthy stuff. In October I started out at 149 lbs. Now, I weigh 128 lbs. I know I lost weight, and people can tell that I have gotten slimmer, but I still feel fat. I want to get down to 100-105. In the mornings, I jog my dog 1-2 miles. And in the afternoons, we go on a long 7 mile walk at 3.5 MPH, takes us 2 hrs (sometimes we do this only 4 times a week). In between that, I do calisthenics for 15 mins, cardio workout for like 15-30 mins, mixed with jump roping, stretching, weights etc. I have been averaging 4-5 lbs lost every month. Will getting down to about 115 (losing 15) lbs make me look significantly thinnner? will ppl be able to tell? do I have to get down to 105 for it to show?

Congratulations on everything you're already doing! You are doing weight loss smart and doing it correctly by eating healthy and exercising. 4-5 pounds a month is excellent! Plus you're giving your body & metabolism time to get used to the new weight rather than a quick drop and shock to your system. People can already tell that you're losing weight and have been saying that to you. 15 more pounds is more than 10% of your current weight and will definitely show....to you.

Don't listen to crazy get slim products....most of the time they don't work except to make the seller some money. You are doing weight loss and life style change the right way. Keep up the good work!!!

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss (it's actually a colon cleanse) and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it (it's 100% natural). The results were excellent. I lost about 20 pounds in 2 months with this detox. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.diet-fun-now.us where they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling.
Good luck!

I know how you feel, I'm a recovering anorexic and I felt so annoyed when people weren't completmenting my weight loss. I kept saying I'm going to keep losing weight until somebody notices! I went way too far though and my eating became less and less.

People only started noticing when I got down to about 100lbs.

Sounds like you are already doing all the good ways to lose weight. Make sure to eat enough though, you don't want your body to go into starvation mode like mine did.

Continue drinking plenty of water and make sure to get lots of good rest between workouts. For me going through anorexia, I lost the most weight by walking. I would walk for ages and ages and lost soo much weight.

Just make sure you are looking after yourself and don't lose too much, I realise now that curves are better! I was so starving and miserable and realise I was much happier before.

Good luck! :)
