How can I lose at least 5 pounds, ( i want to lose 10) in 2 weeks?!


Question: I am 5'4", 20 years old, and weigh 128. I just want a really fast way to lose the 10 pounds and in 2 weeks. I know it's awful, but it doesn't have to be healthy. Thanks!

Hi, Ok - it wont be healthy - but 3500 calories translates into 1 pound. So therefore you need to eliminate (not intake) or use (exercise) 35,000 calories in 14 days. That means 2500 calories per day. The amount of exercise necessary to do this would be tremendous - so the easy way is to not eat them. This is possibly your entire days intake judging by your weight. So the fast and unhealthy answer is to fast. From a personnal view though - don't do this. - LuvJo

Quick addition to this - If you are not already dieting and loosing weight, consider that many people who begin a serious diet experience a large upfront weight loss (sometimes refered to as "water-weight" during the first week or two.

Get on the scale every morning and don't eat until you reach your goal. Easy and fast. If you must eat. make it raw vegetables, they will fill you up with the least calories. (But they may also "stop you up" if you know what I mean. - LuvJo

You probably have 5 pounds of hair, so if you shave your head, you'll lose five pounds. But that's probably not the way you want to go. Exercise?

if you make unhelathy attempts to lose weight though you could actually cause harm to your body. if you commit to a low calorie diet and start exercise you could probably lose a few pounds in 2 weeks. dont get caught up on trying to lose a lot of weight ASAP.

Adkins works quick, however, at 128 if you want to lose weight go to the shrink first cuz you have self-esteem issues.

Why in Gods name do you want to loose so much weight! Your fine! You are in a healthly weight don't hurt yourself like this. I am 5'4'' 27 years old and I weigh 140 llds, I am not overweight. Sure I don't want to gain anymore I am comfortable where i am at, but geeze your fine. Don't worry about. On top of that loosing that much weight in such a small amount of time will do damage to various organs, especially your liver. If you must loose 10 lpds you should allow about a 1-2 lpds a week, thats healthy. In an attempt to loose so much weight so quickly you will take years off your life. Is that really worth it.

To safely lose 10 pounds it would take 7 weeks. If you lose weight too fast, your body moves into "survival" mode, grabbing the calories from everything you eat, and STORING them. It is quite possible for you to lose the 10 pounds, and then a few weeks later, gain it all back, plus more because your body gets confused.

If you are bent on losing the weight still, do a liquid breakfast and lunch [LOW FAT soups, smoothies, juice, etc.] and then an actual meal for dinner [lean meat/ fish/ protein, whole grain carb, plenty of veggies-raw or steamed]
