Intervals. Find out what exercise(s) you like: walk, bike, row, dance, etc. Then start at 30min. Go at an easy pace for 5min, medium for 5min, then all out as hard as you can for 1min. Repeat. Increase the duration and/or intensity everytime.
Focus on eating lots of protein, complex carbs, and fiber. No white/refined sugar.
Drink lots of water! I drink 100+ oz a day.
Try eating small healthy meals 5-7 times a day, this will keep the body in a state of positive change. Eat a multivitamin, being deficient in 1 vitamain can curb your body's progress.

Isometrics build great strength and burn off fat. Pull-ups build a great muscular back and Strength/endurance throughout the entire upper body. Push-ups build great a great chest, arms, shoulders, abs and back. Holding a gymnast bridge builds great strength/flexibility in the entire body. For eating, fruits, veggies, lean meats and plenty of water will do wonders.
