Pasteurizing is the process of heating a liquid to kill off bacteria or viruses. Nothing bad about it. Preservatives help food to last longer (they help kill bacteria that eats away food, or limit oxygen absorption). I don't believe they have a real affect on your health. Most are completely safe. There are a lot of studies that support them and they are studies that say preservatives are bad. Read up on them to make your own decision.
it's not good for your kidney or liver. i forgot which.
