Cambridge diet?!


Question: ive heard you need a doctors certificate to go on the cambridge diet will my doctor give me any tests etc before saying i can go on the diet? thanks in advance

no they wont require a doctors certificate, i did it last year and all they needed were my measurements, weight and of course money! its a fab diet to do once you get into it, you'll totally see the weight falling off! good luck

No you don't. I was on it years ago and it did work. But of course once I started eating normally, tho still dieting, the weight came back with a vengeance

No, I went on the Cambridge Diet last year, and my friend is currently on it at the moment.

You do not need a doctors note to go on it. They will however, inform your doctor that you have decided to do it.

Good luck with it, its hard work to stick to, but the results are very good. My friend lost 4.5 stone in less than 4 months. However, it played havoc with me, I was only losing 1lb a week, and had a constant period the whole time I was on it. Guess it just didnt agree with me.

You need your doctor to sign a medical record form, if you are taking any prescribed medication, or if your BMI is over 40.
