Diet Problems?!
Question: My mom needs to go on a diet. Ya, that's normal. She needs to find a good, true program. That's normal too. She's scared to use programs she finds. That's a problem. Please give me any good tips/programs that she can use. I really want my mom to be her beautiful self again. Please, be nice.

you could tell her to count calories, it's the closest thing to losing wieght yet, keeping her same habits, of course certain, things could improve her progress, such as eating many small meals, but if she isn't willing to exercise or diet, nothing will happen for her.
find out her maintence level and go from there.
Diets dont work, try having your mom just eat healthier. Cut out the junk, cut out the bad fats, cut out the excessive salt. Eat more raw fruits and vegetables and try eating more seeds and nuts.
Maybe she should try sparkepeople.com ...it's free and very helpful or if she wants to pay there is ediets or nutrisystem. I personally use spark people and so far I've lost 8 pounds since the begining of the year( but I've hit the gym about 2 times a week). Its gives you information on how to start dieting and how to eat the rigth portion of foods, ect. Good luck.
