I feel fat...help me please?!


Question: I am 15, and 5'6, and I weigh 113.7 lbs. I know that's not a big number, but I used to be 107 and recently I put on a few pounds and I just feel HUGE!!! help me please!! advice on how to lose those 5 pounds or speed up my metabolism...anything!! Thanks!

Your weight is decent for your height and age. Don't worry too much about it.

If you really want to lose it though, don't diet, just exercise a little bit every day. Around 30 minutes of jogging, or cycling or even doing jumping jacks (if you could do it for that long) would be very helpful.

Some people might suggest cutting down on sweets, but if it were me, I wouldn't do that as I like sweet stuff too much. Instead, after eating, don't sit down straight away; take a quick walk around your neighborhood.

If you follow those two rules, you may not lose your weight instantly, but I guarentee that your weight will go down gradually and you'll be a healthier person.

I'm 5 5 and 1/2 and weigh about 120 pounds. Don't feel fat. You obvoiusly aren't; you should just let what happenes happen.

That's exactly how I feel right now, I weigh the right amount, but I went from 110 to 123 in a couple months. Well now I have lost 6 pounds just by cutting calories. Try to eat around 1000-1200 a day. Don't eat any less though. Exercise every other day. Drink green tea because it speeds up your metabolism.

Oh honey! Don't do this to yourself. You are perfectly normal and your weight gain could be because you are going through a growth spurt. My daughter is 14 and I just had the same conversation wih her. Being beautiful has nothing to do with weight. Love yourself, that is beautiful.

youre not even close to being overwiehgt, but for the record if you want to speed up your metabolism, eat spicy foods and lift some weights.
do squats, they work like 30% of the muscle in your body. run for 20 minutes a day. 5 pounds will be gone in a few weeks tops
dont eat crap food either. no fast food. none. no pizza. eat more fruit

you are underweight if you are 107 pounds, right now you are bearely normal! if you really want to lose wight fast, you can lose AT LEAST 3 lbs per week if you dont eat anything that has flour, if thats too hard, just eat healthy and cut out junk food. good luck!

well seriously thats not fat. im 5'4" and 127 pounds. but if u want to lose a few pounds eat your normal amount of food one day and then the next half it and then the day after that normal again. it sounds weird but it has been proven to really quicken metabolism. and just u know run a mile a day.

If you wish to lose pounds so badly...Just so you know it may be a growth spurt...If you want so badly to lose pounds try regularly exercising and eating healthy foods (NO CHOCALATES, CANDIES, AND OTHER SUGAR SWEETS!) and avoid laying around like a couch potato in front of the T.V. for 6 hours a day...Just limit yourself and make a scheduel
EXAMPLE:
6:00~Walk the Dog
7:00~Go to gym
8:00~Oh great! SCHOOL!
9:00~YADA YADA
3:00~I'm back!

DON'T LOOSE WEIGHT!!! YOU ARE UNDERWEIGHT! In fact, even the weight you've gained you are still underweight. You may "feel" fat because you're just not used to having it. You're growing and you need it. Don't fuss!

115 is not bad don't worry if you are in sports in school like track some of that weigh is muscle

your weight is fine for your height if any thing it is low,you are 15 you must expect that you will gain weight as you grow.don't be obsessed with your weight till you need to be,

you are still growing. like me! im 13 and i weigh more than u do so dont worry. k? i weigh 120. so if that makes u feel better. than there u go. :-(

i am 5'6 and 123lbs and i don't feel fat, you are underweight girl...it starts at 117lbs to 145 or 150 if i am not mistaken...it must be damn ugly...it is too skinny,...and i am talking about 113 here...come on, love your body, while you can, when you have a baby like me, you will see that you should of liked your body when it was pretty! i do love my body now, i could use some toning but am working on it...eat a little...you are NOT fat and it would be okay at 115-120 even 130 and up...

PEOPLE, stop telling her what to do to lose weight, she doesn't even have enough fat to cook an egg...come on it is so silly to give her tips to lose weight, can't you see that she is underweight? Don't lose fat you will get sick!

i think you should stop comparing your self with your very skinny friends or thoes girls in the magazines. Skinny doesnt mean healthy, 113 is normal, as long as you are healthy be happy. There are other people who weight more then you and they arent complaning. Learn to appreciate your body. You are way to young to be worried abt weight. Just enjoy life.. Oh yea just eat healthy. jumping jacks, do them upon waking up and before bed, about 5 to 10 minutes, and you will be in awesome shape while keeping your weight down

u should order some food at jenny craig it really works u can actually loose weight trust me i was like u then. then my friend told me about jenny craig and she was absolutely correct i lost a lot of weight so u should try it they have the commercial on tv on some channels sorry i for got the number. but good luck
