How can I lose 10 lbs [maybe more?] before the summer?!

Question: Okay, so im 11. All of my friends are sooo skinny. I weigh 109.5 lbs. Summer is coming up fast and i dont want to feel akward in a bikini again. I dont play sports, and the little exercise i get is from walking around school or walking to the park with my friends. Ive tried cutting out the "bad eating habits" like fast food places, but my family doesnt really leave me a choice but to eat there. All they say is "Its dinner, eat it!" Whenever i do eat there, it never feels worth it after im finished eating. I dont have a dog to walk either. I do have staircases, and have tried doing as many sit ups on the floor as possible, until i get tired. Instead of sitting, I jog infront of my tv sometimes, until my 15 yr old brother comes downstairs and tells me i look like an idiot and to just sit down. He plays football, so we have a home-gym upstairs that i can use.

I really want to lose it before summer. Pls offer eating guides, or exercises to help?

10 pounds will be very easy to lose before summer!! But only if you really are determined to lose!
1) When you are eating at fast food places, there are healthier options to choose. Like instead of opting for the double cheeseburger with a thing of fries, choose the grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad or a fruit cup! It is so much more filling than a fatty meal option! I promise!!
2) You may not play sports, don't have a dog, or don't get much exercise, but that last option can change!! Just go outside for a nice, brisk walk! You won't get too tired, but you will certaintly be getting great exercise!
3) Your brother may be right about you jogging in place in front of the tv, so instead of doing that do 5 minutes of situps during 1 commercial break, then, the next commercial break, do some push-ups (girl push-ups are acceptable!!), then the next one run upstairs and do some arm or leg weights!
4) Talk your parents into buying fresh fruits, whole wheat bread, and veggies and you will be off to a great start!
5) Nix out all processed foods and stick to fresh fruits and veggies:-) Your parents may think you are weird at first, but soon, they may start to pick up some of your eating habits, too!!

Get involved in a sport or dance class. When you go to a fast food place order the salad on the menu or have the burger or sandwich but skip the fries. Really, the regular exercise is what will keep you fit though.

You can first check if your body mass index or BMI is correct at http://clocks.110mb.com/negativecalorief... and then follow instructions given there.

okay sweetie. you are 11, you dont need to be really worrying too much about your weight. just go for a run and cut out the fast food for now. please please please dont go and to anything extreme. dont try diets or weird exercise programs. just try to live a healthy lifestyle by making good choices. 109.5 is not that bad. best of luck!

Watch what you eat. You know, no junk foods. OK, maybe 1 time a week you can have a little......You have a home gym? Wow are you lucky.....Eat dinner, only half of it.
Every night b/4 you go to bed, you can lay on the floor and do sit ups.......If you can only do 10 starting out, that is good. Keep adding 2-4 a night until you are at 50. This will crunch your stomach, and your thighs. (No more than 40- 50)
But try an get in a habit, while you are young and eat more fruits and vegetables.....If you have a baked potato, don't put butter and sour cream on top, Try salsa, or just Mrs. dash for spices........Things take time. Doing exercises and maybe some chores around the house can help. Make sit ups a habit though everynight. When you go to bed, your body is still burning off all of calories that you worked up to.
good luck).. It sounds like you are doing things right...
