Women who are dieting??!

Question: Hi ladies!
Would you mind sharing your eating plan with me on a typical day (assuming it is successful)? I've been working hard in the gym and dieting as best I can, I guess I just want to see some other ideas.

Thank you very much!

I've struggled with my weight since I was a child. After having a baby, it's gotten even worse. After my daughter was born I was 218lbs and sat there for awhile. I cut out full sugar soda in March and by the end of the year I was sitting around 201lbs. Last week I decided it was finally time to get back to the grind and get this weight off. I read through some of the diet books I had laying around. Atkins, The Zone, Weight Watchers, Hilton Head Metab. Diet. I decided the best thing for me was to combine these diets into meals that work better for my schedule. The only carbs I'm taking in are from fruits and vegetables, although I'm not drinking juice because I'm against drinking my calories. I work really early in the morning and have never been a breakfast person, so I take my supplements (fish oil, b6, b12, niacin, benefiber) with a slimfast shake.
I'm against starving myself, so I eat almost seven times a day, but again these are portion controlled snacks along with my regular three meals. A piece of fruit, some cut vegetables with homemade hummus, yogurt with benefiber added, or some string cheese. I'll be honest with you, I found out that I'm not as much an emotional eater, as I am when I'm bored. I started noticing that if food was easily accesible, I would just eat it without even thinking about it. I started my diet a few days ago and have lost 4lbs.
I take one day in the week and cook all my meals that I think I'd be interested in eating. Gladware disposable containers are my friends. I also am addicted to condiments so instead of Catsup or steak sauce, I add a little bit of Franks Red Hot to everything. It adds a kick without too much heat and has no calories. There have also been some studies recently that red cayenne pepper helps curb appetite, which is the main ingredient. I question it, but if you like a little bit of spice with your meals, I highly reccomend it. Hope this helps, and good luck to you!

no soda, no sweets

cut those out and you lose weight.

who wouldve thought ;)

My typical day:
cereal with milk for breakfast. (230 calories)
Sandwich for lunch (usually about 300 calories)
Whatever my parents make for dinner- pasta, steak, soup. (200-500 calories)

Then I also have a yogurt or apple(100 calories)

I dance, run on the treadmill, weightlift, and stretch every day.

I have lost 13 pounds.

I eat roughly 200-300 cals for breakfast, and try to include some calcium, fiber, and protein.
I have a 100 cal. snack around 10:30am, usually a piece of fruit, or some veggies.
For lunch, I eat about 300-400 calories, and try to include calcium and fiber.
PM Snack is 100 cals, around 3:00. Again, something fruit or veg, or calcium or protein.
Dinner is about 500-600 cals. I eat 2x as much veggies as I do meat or starch, and grill, bake, or steam everything. No frying allowed!

Total calories are 1200- 1500, depending on how active I am planning on being.

NEVER eat empty calories. Make everything count nutritionally.

Also, if I eat out, I eat vegetarian. Much easier to stay within caloric parameters that way.

B'fast - bowl of special K or life cereal and a banana...
Weekend b'fast is scrambled egg whites with whole wheat toast

Snack - apple or low fat crackers

Lunch - turkey sandwhich on 100% whole wheat bread, and a salad

snack #2 - usually an orange or a banana

Dinner - Baked marinated chicken with cold veggies and some fat free ranch dip (I don't like steamed veggies) And usually a salad

Another good dinner idea is tilapia fish fillets, with seasoning.

I also drink lots of water, and only water... and lots of fruits and veggies... Instead of eating chocolate or sweets, I go for the strawberries and bananas and oranges. Clemintines are my fav!

umm no soda nothing that has sugar i also dont go to the gym i extersise in one of the walking michence im i eat meat and vegtabables salide for tooo or three days and i lost 11 pounds

To get fit and stay there, a lifestyle change is needed (not just a temporary diet).

I like the South Beach Diet's eating plan for long term. It's got a good balance of what's needed for good health, but at the same time doesn't deprive you of anything.

A well balanced diet will consist of lean protein, fresh fruits and veggies, whole grain products, healthy fats, and lots of water.

Best wishes on attaining your goal, and staying there. Don't forget to add in plenty of exercise (I shoot for 1 hr/day, at least 5 days/wk) to help lose the pounds faster and improve overall fitness. ?

one day u should go on a liguid diet then no sweets,no pop etc.
