Can this help me lose weight off my stomach?!


Question: well i just recentley gotten sick and i have gained a couple of pounds but i always was trying to lose weight.

This is the routine im hoping will help
jumprope 30 mins straight (without stopping)
30 pushups
25 lunges
100 crunches everyother day.

and on weekends run a mile.

do you think this can help me lose weight off my core area by summer?

it will help a little, but in sound to me like you are targeting your legs more than your core. i would suggest doing exercises geared more to your abs. -i.e. ab crunches, yoga.

fitnessmagazine.com has a lot of free online video workouts and their are some that target your core.

To lose weight you have to do cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min.
crunches will build abs but they dont burn fat.
the only fat burning exercise is cardio.
diet is a key - eat 5-6 small meals a day.
never starve yourself.

Why not do situps/crunches every day? Try increasing it to 250 per day. Watch you food intake by taking smaller portions. No need to diet, just watch portions. Limit fast food though. Sounds like you're getting a variety of other exercise. I think you can do it.
