I have a question about lifting and muscle building?!
Question: okay i am 14. i lift weights becuz i want to gain muscle for freshman football. wat foods am i supposed to eat in order to gain muscle. when you do cardio exercises, are you gaining musle?? thanks,

High Protein and High Carbs... So things like chicken, turkey, fish, steak, eggs.... Sweet potato, Brown rice, wholemeal pasta, veggies, legumes. Then a little bit of fat, like nuts or olive oil.
Cardio wont put much if any muscle on to you but it will help burn the calories of the extra food you are taking in. Which is good cos you'll be eating alot to gain muscle.
Protein builds muscle!
Most of the lifters I've known take protein shakes.
You can get them almost any pharmacy, even Walmart.
I have had some that you just mix with water or juice.
eggs, meat, fish, cheese
the best way is more steaks, lean steaks, chicken, tuna and hallubut eggs, but egg whites is what is best for BB
brown rice, potato, broccoli
cardio very little of you gain muscle maybe 3days aweek 20min each
lifting program do tha Max OT by AST
protein shake maybe if your allowed
