Intense cardio will help you lose fat all over your body. You can't really target where you lose the weight, however. You should try to burn around 500 calories a day through exercise and maintain a healthy eating plan. If you continue to eat healthy and exercise for AT LEAST 30-40 minutes (but 60-90 minutes is recommended), you should start seeing minor results in a few weeks.
When you exercise, fat is burnt from all over the body- it is toning that makes a specific area look better and increases muscle. For the stomach, sit ups, crunches etc are best

I'd go with crunches and sit ups. But besides that it also depends on if you are eating things with a lot of fat in them like most meats or drinking beer because you'll get a beer belly if you drink too much.
