You feel like you are sane, but you are totally irrational and nobody can tell you anything. I've been there - once - not to extremes I've seen - but well under 100 lbs - I wasn't a kid, I was married with 2 small kids at the time. It's a mental illness, not a physical one - and it's an obsession. It's lonely, but while it's going on,you don't care. You ignore your mirror and what people tell you. The bathroom scale becomes your #1 authority. You weigh yourself ALL the time. (And to make things worse, there are plenty of people who envy your unhealthy low weight - so to a point, you get a good deal of encouragement.)

If you're like I was, you will try to keep yourself "amped" caffeine or other stimulants. You'll see other people eating right and feel almost morally superior to them because you aren't eating. You'll notice the teensiest amounts of fat on other people and feel you're outcompeting them. You'll feel full after eating very little. You'll lie if you need to to cover what you're doing. Your sleeping habits will be all screwed up - due to the stimulants. Several sleepless nights followed by a crashes. You'll be glad every time your clothes are too large - and you'll buy smaller sizes - until the stores run out of sizes that small - then you go to another department - even childrens'. People will tell you you need to eat more - and you'll somehow think that the fact that they tell you this is a good thing - you don't eat, you just feel as if you're glad they noticed. If you're lucky, you'll find your way back - and it will be over. If you're not, you'll end up in big trouble. Once you've been that way, you stay a bit that way.

tired, lethargic, unable to cope with the world, energy-less, fatigued, prone to emotional outbursts ect...

you feel weak, and very breakable, ive been sick before and I lost a whole tonn of weight and it hurts. You just wanna eat but your too sick and u vomit the food baxck up

I don't know from experience, but chances are, they feel fat. It's the reason they are anorexic in the first place. Once they start, their brains get used to it, and gives the victim the illusion that they are fat, even when they look in the mirror and there's more background than body.

i'm not anorexic, but i saw that documentary called "thin" on HBO. the girls looked really tired, their hair fell out, they probably felt shakey and had low blood sugar all the time. i think you also get cold hands, feel dizzy and cranky all the time.

sounds horrible to me :/

Sorry it's not coming from a person that has had experience with anorexia, but I can tell you this-
An anorexic person starves themself. (Duh.) So,of course, they're hungry. When you think you're fat, and you're really hungry because you've had just a cracker and a small glass of water every day. This makes you feel trapped. You know now that you DEFINITELY do not want to be an anorexic, right? Oh, and I'm not a spam-giving kind of gal, but you should SERIOUSLY consider going to http://www.runescape.com/ !!! It's awesome!!! Please!!! PLEASE??!!! WILL YOU? FOR ME! IF YOU DON'T, YOU'RE TOTALLY MISSING OUT!
