How about self-hypnosis. It works for me...because the change in the programming to my sub conscious allowed me to not dread the exercising, or the calorie restriction. These both were necessary for me, in order to stave off the family genetics that promise me cancer, diabetes, heart failure, altzheimer's and age-onset leukemia. Especially needful is the calorie restriction but I found that I couldn't consistently stay with it, until I found out how easy it was to train my mind to WANT to do it. Now it's no problem and the weight loss has been gradual and dramatic. It has given me the new lease on life, so to speak. See my sources and find out for yourself.

i can't believe the amount of people who don't understand, eat healthy, and hate to break it to you EXERCISE! come on people its not rocket science

The healthy way to lose weight:

Exercising regularly, and eating right. Simple. You can't put crap into your body and expect to be skinny. It just doesn't work like that. Cut soda from your diet and other sugary drinks, and especially avoid diet soda. It contains aspartame, which can cause blindness, Alzheimer's, diabetes, and a hell lot of other things. Drink plenty of water, every day.

Cutting carbs is not a good idea. They are essential for energy. There ARE good carbs out there, you just need to find the right ones. For example, the carbs in white pasta, white bread, and etc (simple carbs), are carbs that are not good for you because they are refined, stripped of their healthyness, to put it simply. Carbs in wheat pasta, whole wheat bread, and brown rice, are called complex carbs, and are the carbs you should be eating. Cutting them from your diet will not help you lose weight...you just need to eat carbs in moderation, just like everything else.
