How can i burn fat off of my stomach and thighs in 3-4 weeks?!

Question: I need to lose some fat off of my stomach and i thighs in about 3 or 4 weeks. I've been running and using hip-hop abs for a few days. Is that enough? How long should i run for each day to see good results fast? Also, what should i do for an eating plan? Thankss :)

I'm not sure if your 3 - 4 week goal is realistic because you haven't stated whether you're looking to lose 5 pounds or 50 pounds.

And many times, folks with unrealistic goals just set themselves up for a let-down at the end and start taking ridiculous and super-unhealthy pills and potions.

So you need to think "realistic and healthy" weight loss instead of "quick, fast, and in a hurry". The "realistic and healthy" goal will be long-lasting.

Here are a couple of points that I personally found helpful:

Get enough quality protein in your daily diet - not only does it have a higher thermic effect than carbs and fat (so you burn more calories digesting it), but it also creates satiety so your hunger is satisfied longer. Plus it's a building block for maintaining and building lean muscle... And remember that the amount of lean muscle you carry is one of the main factors for controlling your metabolism.

Think fiber! When it comes to carbs, make sure that almost all of your carbohydrate intake is from higher fiber sources like vegetables, fruits, and high fiber unrefined grains. Try to avoid refined sugars and refined grains as that is one of the main reasons so many people struggle with body fat.

If you'd like a more in-depth list of foods (55 of them) and workout routines that will help you maintain lean muscle, check out the following blog:

Good luck!

Work your a** off!!!

join a gym.

Giving up pop for life did it for me. (If you drink pop regularly, it's said you can lose up to 15-25 pounds in a month if you stop completely).

pretend you dont have any money to buy food. Sometimes I dont pretend, i just dont have enough to get a wholesome meal, but Noodles seem to do the trick.

Keep doing what you are doing, and cut down in fats and sodium. Sodium makes you retain water which is bad. But it sounds like you are doing an excellent job, just don't over do it cause you could hurt yourself!!

ask you'r doctor . he/she will know what is best for you. remember eferyone is different

Diet and exercise together if you want maximum results. Incorporate full body wt training in your routine 3 days a week. Do cardio 6 days a week (60 minutes or so). Whatever you do be sure you are pushing yourself hard. So if you don't have a full hour, use the time you do have to the max. Diet: Balanced diet, eat unprocessed food, stay away from High Fructose Corn Syrup, lean meat, fruit, veggies, yogurt, high fiber (brown rice, wheat pasta etc). Eat at least 4 times a day. Drink lots of water, stay away from sugary juice and soda. You will feel great :)

aerobics wont really help get rid of fat on the stomach quickly. You need to isolate the problem. Try sit ups and crutches. Stay away from alcohol and liquid medications because they go right to the gut. unless you really need them

well i used to work for jenny craig:

when i worked there the guidence we got from out dietitions was the people should loose at the most 5-10 lb a week if over 200 lb or a max of 7-10% of there body mass (your weight)

now the stuff may have changed but the best way to loose weight is to eat right and lwer the caloric intake while also greatly increasing the ammount of excersize you do. Now excersize cant just be work up a light sweat we are talking about alot of sweat such as starting witha pedometer and working to a goal of around a 1/2 a million steps a day now if u do office work it adds up but if you do desk work that can change.

It looks like you're on the right path... 3 to 4 weeks is too soon to loose a lot of weight.

the first week of most diets you loose 10 pounds which is mostly just water, and drink water because this gets your metabolism going and gets rid of extra water sitting in your body.

If you drink water daily your body gets rid of this water bloating you up because it knows it's going to get more water soon.

Now once you're weightloss starts to slow down don't get frustruated... you'll notice that you will be loosing 3 pounds.. then 2 then 1.... and it will be frustruating. keep with it.. because at this point you are loosing weight, burning fat.... and loosing weight that will stay off.

gaining weight takes time, and so does loosing weight. keep up with your workouts, if you're a guy you will get results faster than a girl. it's just the way our bodies work.

but working out and eating healthy will never fail you.

it shouldn't unless you have extremely slow metabolism, but that shouldn't be a problem it will just take longer.

drinking water and working out daily keeps boosts up your metabolism.

run/ power walk or do the hip hop abs for at least an hour a day, 5 days a week. try to stop eating after 7 or 8 pm. eat more fruit (it raises metabolism). Stay away from fried foods. Drink more water. and finally do crunches and lunges to tone and tighten those areas.

helped me out quite a bit when I was trying to lose weight. Now I've got it off and I've never felt better. Hope this helps.
