Potato chips are high in fat and carbohydrates whilst also being low in nutrients. Your long term health will not benefit from this diet and will likely make you tired and sluggish. It is better to try and make sensible food substitutions to cut out calorie rich foods, whilst eating plenty of fruit and vegetables.
