I have 1/2 of a natural peanut butter (ingredients: Peanuts, Salt) sandwich on wheat toast, and a banana or an apple. It's an easy breakfast to eat on-the-go.
I like to nuke oatmeal with either cinnamon or blueberries in it. 2 minutes and its ready. Protein shakes are good too.
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen broccoli
A scoop or two of your favorite protein powder
Milk/water to thickness
Blend it up.
It's got fruit, vegetables and protein. It sounds disgusting, I'll admit. But it actually tastes good.
+ small container of yoghurt- you can throw in some chopped fruit (strawberries, mango, apple, blueberries) or a few nuts.
+ a muesli/granola bar (go for nut based, they're healthier)
+ fruit- you can easily grab something like an apple or banana on your way out
Also try making your breakfast the night before. You could make something like scrambled eggs, oatmeal, muesli etc and put it in a container to be eaten the morning after.
My favourite is bircher muesli- Just combine about 1c. oats, 1/2c. apple juice, 1/2c. yoghurt, 1/2 grated green apple and some frozen berries in a bowl and leave to soak overnight. In the morning add some extra yoghurt and voila!- a healthy breakfast =]
