How did I do today with my diet?!
Question: Breakfast: Special K
1% low fat milk
banana

Lunch: Turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with 1 slice of cheese and lettuce
water
Snack: 90 cal yogurt
Dinner: Well once a week I treat myself to one meal that I want to have so tonight I had a smallish bowl on homemade beef stew and water
snack: Apple

Wow, you are very disciplined! I'm not sure how many calories that is, but it seems to be a good balance of the different food groups although you may need more vegetables and fibre. Good for you!

If you eat less than 1,200 calories a day you can slow your metabolism. Also, Special K is not a great breakfast choice; it has high sodium, low protein, low fiber and a high sugar content even though it is low in calories per serving. Oatmeal with milk or an egg and toast is a better choice because it will leave you with more energy and keep you fuller longer.
