either way is good. for example i do chest monday arms tuesday(biceps, triceps, forearms back and shoulder- wednesay and legs thursday. just be aware that while bench press is for chest, it also works triceps and shoulders. there are many things like that. i only worry about chest and shoulders on consecutive days. besides that as long as you cover them all, its fine
