Question: ok im loosing the stress marks on my stomach but i looked on the scale and i gained weight why is this and ive been doing 50 set-ups every night

Sit ups will help you gain some muscle but won't do too much for fat loss. You really need to be walking, running, swimming, cycling or some aerobic activity to really get the weight off.
muscle weighs more than fat.
I agree with the first answer, but it can also be due to an fluctuation in water rentention, water can seem like the enemy even though you are supossed to drink lots of it :(
