I have the tendency to snack when I'm bored. I'm thin right now, but I&#!


Question: that I'm going to be fat when I'm older. Any ideas on what I can do?

I'm a "bored snacker" myself....and it really kicks in late at night...which is the worst time to snack! So I try to snack on healthy things like apple slices and peanut butter (just a little though). Sometimes I get a craving for something 'bad' like potato chips, and I let myself have them...but only a handful. I don't keep the bag at my side and 'graze' because I'll finish off the whole thing if I do.

I'm 50 now and I've managed to stay the same weight I was in my 20s....5'9" and 127 pounds...AND I have hypothyroidism...so I must be doing something right! lol

I do the same thing and I am very ashamed that I let myself gain over 50 pounds from it.just try your best to break that habit now. or just snack on on or suckers

Unstead of sitting around and snacking when your bored, find another activity to do like go play outside..watch t.v. Play video games..jump rope.

and don't worry !

well if you exercise now keep doing that and if you dont and eat a lot then you have a fast metabolism. But if thats not the case exercise and turn whatever your eating into muscle(small)

Try to stay busy, look for a new hobbie, call a friend, go for a walk, anything, is true, is very easy to over eat when you're bored, so stay away from the tv and stay active.
