Any tips on how to lose weight?(Read on for my height,weight,and age)?!


Question: I'm 15,5"5,and weigh 136lbs.Please help!My doctor says I'm not overweight but I need to "tone" out my body.This is hard for me because I am very lazy =[And I don't eat a lot(just a 100 calorie bar for lunch&skip breakfast).Any tips on dieting and exercizing?

Damn I know what you feel like. But more important than losing weight is staying healthy. U have to eat. U say you want to tone out ur body so u have to eat and then exercise.

Exercising may seem hard but you need to get inspiration. Find something you really like, like if you like soccer go on youtube and watch soccer videos to get you inspired. Just find something you like as long as it involves exercise then get out there and doo it.

This may sound stupid but it may help to listen to hype-up songs such as: "eye of the tiger" by Survivor or "big things poppin" by T.I

join a sport at school.. u'll have fun and lose weight and meet more friends

Cardio run like a ***** and skiprope like a ***** and once you notice a differance start doing sit ups trust me i did it.

Go play sports. It's fun, and you don't have a choice about exercising when you play.

Stop skipping meals and do some toning exercises. Skipping meals can cause you to GAIN weight, because your body stores food not knowing when it will replenish again.

First if all, your weight is perfect. You need to eat breakfast, like a fruit, and you need to walk and progress to a jog. that should help tone you up.

If you are not overweight then why do you want tips to lose weight? Your doctor said you need to get toned up which is different from losing weight. You need to do some toning exercises like lifting weights, jogging, and riding a bike.

You are in the normal range for your BMI and at the same height as you, I would love to be only 136....lets talk again when you reach 180lbs like me.......yuck....

i know that would probably never consider this, but try Curves. I was 15 and 175lbs size 14, and I lost 30lbs with Curves!!!

really, what won't help you loose weight is skipping meals.
You need to eat something for breakfast even if its light, try the 100 calorie bar for breakfast and a light lunch.
You dont need a ton of exercise. Try jogging a little each day. Even going for a 20 minute walk every day.

Omgosh, dont skip breakfast! That's the most important meal to eat as it kick starts your metabolism. You'll burn more through eating food in the morning (: For exercising do something you love like a sport. Grab some friends and just go for a walk, go shopping, or play some volleyball/racquetball. Something that'll keep you moving. You could also just get some of the girls and go to the gym. They're are so many cute guys working out there, so it's a pretty cool place ;) Good luck girl--

LOOK,. PEOPLE GOT THE WRONG IDEA THAT BY SKIPPING MEALS U WOULD LOSE WEIGHT...THATS NOT TRUE. UR BODY BURNS CALORIES, WHICH IS THE FAT IN UR BODY. IF U DONT EAT ANY CALORIES, UR BODY WILL START BURNING UR MUSCLES AND U DONT WANT THAT. U GOTTA EAT, BUT THE RIGHT FOOD. DRINK A LOT OF WATER CUZ THAT THE BEST THING U CAN DO IF U WANNA LOSE WEIGHT. AND NO MATTER WHAT, U GOTTA EXCERSISE....IF U DONT, THEN U DONT WANNA LOSE WEIGHT.

*eat a BALANCED DIET.
*start lifting free weights (around 3-5 lbs) to build lean muscle
**run
*do simple things like doing squats and push ups while watching tv
****STOP BEING LAZY.....OR YOU WON'T ACHIEVE ANYTHING

find a good class or DVD and do this at least 3-4 times a week for 2-3 weeks and you'll start to notice a difference.
i'm lazy,too, but i love how this is changing my body.
you just need to get up and do it and remember how much better you'll feel about yourself if you do this for yourself! You're body weight/size sounds just fine. Stick thin is not beautiful!
i'm a mother of 3 and have more issues than a 15 yr. old girl, so if it can work GREAT for me, it will for you, too!!
