How can a fat person run a mile?!


Question: I am 14 and overweight and run at a fast pace. Let me put it this way, i can run a mile between 6-6:30 min. i do not how i do this. i run almost everyday but i barely shed a pound. I really do not know how i can accomplish this. can someone please explain to me how i can do this.

You're body has built up the muscle and/or endurance to carry your weight. Most larger people have trouble running because their stamina/endurance is so low or their body gets tired from carrying the weight. Congratulations (: If you want to shed some pounds, try running two miles or try changing your eating habits because you seem to be getting the appropriate exercise in [: keep it up!

It sounds like you are pretty fit.

Keep running and try to watch your portions. That'll help you lose extra weight.
