How can i lose weight?!


Question: I weigh ALOT, and i'm only 12. I wanna lose weight, BADLY. I've cut off all my sugary stuff, but its really hard because my friends and family tempt me. At school, my mom doesn't make breakfast not lunch for me. so i have no choice but to eat school lunch, which are very fattening. what should i do? should i just drink water and stuff? I'm not good at the exercise department too, i barely have anytime to jog, and i usually lag behind. My teachers give me tons of homework and assignments, i usually take 1-3 hours finishing them off, i have to do chores and stuff. I don't know what should i eat, but i LOVE to swim, i can only do 4-5 laps without stopping and i'm out of breath. :( :( :( help?!?!?

I've read countless questions regarding fat loss and each time I wish the questioner would understand one thing: if you want to lose weight now, do you think it'll stay off for the rest of your life? Usually he/she would nod their heads and think that fat loss is perhaps a 'perfect' thing but in reality, its far far from that.

If you want to lose weight now, you better make sure you'll be sticking with that diet for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. You don't diet for a specified time, you diet for LIFE. Healthy eating and exercise are lifestyle decisions. LIFESTYLE. You can't expect to have a lean body for the rest of your days. Life is much much harder than that.

With that said, reevaluate what you really want and carry it out in a succinct, precise matter. Make a schedule for school, chores, cooking (more on that later), and exercising, write it down on a paper and follow it to the T. Time management is the most important thing you can do to live an efficient life. There are college students who take 18 units (5-6 classes with literally 10x the homework as high school and tests to cry over), work part time and are still able to squeeze through. I admit its extremely tough, but you must make sacrifices if your introducing something else in your life, which in this case is diet and exercise.

With that said, replace ALL your carb sources with fruits and vegetables. Since your only twelve, you have four years till you get a driver's license so ask your mom if you can go shopping with her whenever she does and pick out fruits and vegetables. Eat tons of meat (chicken, beef, salmon) and ask if you can help cook it - that way ur mom will think that ur actually serious about ur body. Have lots of healthy fats too (almonds, raw nuts, extra virgin olive oil, avocados).

Diet is by far the most important thing you can do for your body when it comes to any physique goal - not exercise. But knowing that ur only twelve, I have to admit that its a bit tough to tell you what to eat because everyone your age still only eats what their parents make them. But if your serious about losing fat, then go ask if you can help make ur meals and shop for ur stuff. The biggest mistake ur doing is not eating a big breakfast. The bigger the breakfast u eat, the less ull eat throughout the day. Eat once ever 2-3 hrs inbetween passing periods and such like almonds and raisins. MAKE EVERYTHING THAT YOU PUT INTO UR BODY. Forget the lunches at ur school. Again, eating a sound diet is the most important thing you can do to losing weight, but since itll b somewhat off, you should focus more on exercising:
three days a week (mon, wed, fri): squats, rows, lunges, and pushups for 10-15 reps each performed one after another for 2-3 sets. Be sure to do more each workout: use weight to match the rep range and be sure to do more each workout, either more reps or more weight.

It will be hard, but remember ITS A LIFESTYLE CHOICE. Good luck

just watch what u eat..at 12 u shouldnt worry about it really,,,just replace soda with water..eat right..no chips and junk

eat healthy!!! like fish and no white bread... dont eat alot of steak cuz that has fat... dont eat any fast foods! eat salads... or try too... take walks to school and stuff... BUT U HAVE TO STICK TO YOUR STUFF INSTEAD OF DOING IT FOR A FEW DAYS! you have to do this forEVER to lose your weight... it will never go away... even if it does and you eat like wut u eat now then it will come back...

prepare your own lunch at home and take it to school try to eat only 3 meals and 2 snacks consisting of veggies and meats. Do some sports gym class is a good choice stay active all the way though it. dance around to your favorite music while you doing your chores. go to sleep early and if possible walk to school :P

If you wiegh in between 100-130 pounds, don't worry kid.
Thats normal for a teenager.
Don't try to be perfect like barbies.

Try not to eat any starch either. Like rice, potatoes and pasta. You should also try not to over eat. Eat smaller meals that have fruits and veggies. If you like swimming, try to make it a weekly routine. The more you do it, the better you'll get!

You can still eat whatever and not worry about it. Yes, maybe you are a little over weighted but, at your age it is way easy to bring it down...
1. You can eat anything and everything IN SMALL PORTIONS!!!
2. Get exercise: walk, play physical games, hike, climb...
3. Have sex... No wait... No, don't do that just yet...

you're 12. you should not diet. what you SHOULD do is prepare your own lunches, which you can do as cheaply as you buy school lunches - make sandwiches on whole wheat bread, take almonds as snacks, and pack some veggies & dip and drink v8.

well with the mom not making lunch u need to tell her to suport u in your choice of diet and make them for you cus she is your mom and if u dont have time to go to the gym i dont know do u like going to the mall u can go there and walk an hour a day thats wat i do or wile ur doing chores put on some music u like and dance to it around the house it doesent matter wat you do or how u do it aslong as your moving and using up energy cus if its not used it turnes in to fat and is stored in your body. also for lunch u can take fruits from home with u and have that or just make ur mom make u some its her job thats y shes a mom and eat lots of fruit and vegies and lots of water no mater how much u drink wont hurt u

If you like swimming I would go as often as possible and keep going consistence is the key.

If u want to lose weight first you got to get your mind right!

You have to want it bad enough to stop eating so much 3 healthy meals a day to get your nutrients and no snacks. try not to eat dinner past 6p.m

Once u are determined u want to lose weight you are going to have to make some changes and take a step out of your comfort zone. your going to have to make new habits

Fine a time in your day to jog, run, jump roap is good, something active that you can do with a friend or buy yourself.
(there are maney exersizes u can do look online)

you have to find the time a day that fits you and do it every day for a consecutive 3 weeks. if you do that you will have made it a habit and will be able to keep doing it for a long time.

for example i have to be at work at 8 so i get up at 6 by 6:15 i am runing my rout and i get back betweet 640 & 650 depending on what rout i take. Then i get ready & go to work
I do this EVERY DAY.

1.Watch what u eat but dont stop eating. 3 meals a day.
2.make the desision tell yourself u will stop at nothing
3.start a workout habit.
4.Most important STAY CONSISTANT if you only do it for two weeks and quit it's not going to work. If you start eating things thinking O just this once it's not going to work. If you start skiping workout day's it's not going to work.

Millions of americans suffer from this problem and few have the dedication it takes to over come it. I hope the information i gave u is usefull.
