Are diet sodas unhealthy?!

Question: Yes, they are no different than a regular soda but I think they're worst since their loaded with splenda and artifical sweetners. To me it doesn't matter what sugar the soda has because its still a soda.

They can be. Caffeine is not good, and many diet sodas still contain caffeine. Also, I read something recently that said that when you drink diet soda, you feel more inclined to "reward" yourself with more food. For example, you go to grab a burger, and you get a diet coke, but since you got the diet coke instead of a regular, you get the large fries instead. Stuff like that.... not to mention, many sodas are acidic, which is bad for your tooth enamel.

I don't know, but they taste awful! The artificial sugar gives some people headaches, other than that, I'm not sure.

You're better off drinking iced tea or something, it makes you feel good and not so full while you're eating. I love Dr. Pepper and coke, but I just feel yucky when I drink it with chips or just food in general.

too much sodium for me

All sodas are unhealthy, including diet.
