Do Adults get ear infections?!

Question: Do Adults get ear infections?
I have a very bad sore throat and a lot of drainage. But the insides of my ears (both, but ony one is more painful) hurt and feel like there is a lot of pressure. Could this be an ear infection or just from the drainage and sore throat, but not necessarily an ear infection.

Answers:

Yes, certainly adults can get ear infections.

They are less common than in kids, because the Eustachian tube is larger in an adult than in a kid, but it can happen and it does. And, just like kids, you may need to get an antibiotic from the doctor if it persists.

Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Yes. Adults do get ear infections. The best way to rid of an ear infection is to find someone that smokes and have them blow the smoke into your ears.(scientificly proven to work) do this once every hour and a half to two hours.
