Urine is almost all blood?!

Question: Urine is almost all blood?

I just had to pee and I looked down to find my urine was actually all blood. Not just pink but looked like straight blood. My wife is on the way home to take me to the ER since I don't drive but any ideas?

The most common causes of blood in the urine are kidney or bladder infection or kidney and bladder stones. Some less common causes are kidney disease, cancer, and certain medications.

Are you experiencing any pain when you urinate? Any other symptoms than just blood? You urinated twice in a short period of time, right? Are you feeling a strong urgency to go? That would be more indicative of a bladder infection/UTI.

It could be a lot of things, too much alcohol does that. if you were partying the night before that could be why. But none of us can know for sure, so be sure you actually go to the ER.
