If diabetics take insulin through a pump, would a hypoglycemic patient take gluc!
Question: If diabetics take insulin through a pump, would a hypoglycemic patient take glucagon through a pump?
Let me get this straight:
A person with diabetes has too much blood sugar/glucose. They take the Hormone Insulin so their blood sugar can drop down to normal.
A person with diabetes has too little blood sugar/glucose. Since the Hormone Glucagon can raise blood sugar levels, wouldn't a person with hypoglycemia want to take glucagon to raise their blood sugar levels?

Answers:
glucagon is only given when a person is so hypo that they have passed out or gone into a coma, it's given intravenous, a person usually will know when their sugar is low and try to eat some sugar before this occurs.
11 years as diabetic, been hypoglycemic several times
A person that is hypoglycemic can take glucagon as an injection. It is much easier to eat a little glucose if a person is awake.
most people with hypoglycemia just eat food. you can't exactly eat insulin...
