need to lower her sugar level. since she's only 9, there's a chance the diabetes will go away.

Not sure what normal is for a 9 yr old, but a general normal range is 80-120. Some drs may extend that up to 140, depending on the case. Stay on the doctor about what to expect & where good control is. It'll be worth it in the long run-trust me, I know. I've had Type 1 Diabetes since I was 11 months old! Good luck!

The blood sugar range for someone without diabetes should be between 80-120. Because of her young age, I would say that the best range should be between 80 - 150. Good luck, I hope things get better.
