Can I sue a prostitute for giving me an STD? (Didn't know she was a prostit!
Question: Can I sue a prostitute for giving me an STD? (Didn't know she was a prostitute until after)?
Forward to one week later, i have a unusual bright pink rash on my testicles, when i pee it feels like i'm urinating razors, and i feel pain when i get an erection...My friend told me he sees this girl all the time in the casinos and says I can sue her for giving me and STD because i was unaware that she was a prostitute. My friend's dad is a lawyer who will take on almost any case, and my friend is almost certain i can win, because he says if i wasnt so trashed and i knew she wasnt a ho, i wouldnt have had sex with her and i wouldnt have caught the std. With the money i get from the lawsuit i probably will see a doctor to get rid of this STD. Do you guys think I have a case??

Umm, yeah, that's like trying to sue your drug dealer for giving you some bad sh!t.
Good luck with that.
You can get her legally in trouble if she gave you an STD and she knew she had one.
answer mine?
Man, shouldn't have been that damn drunk. Your already talking about suing a prostitute and getting money before you even know what it is. GO GET CHECKED!
bahahaha your screwed
to be perfectly honest...I am not altogether sure if you can do such a thing but it would seem me that your health is your responsibility and it is up to you to protect your health by using a latex condem when you are having sexual intercourse with someone.
Regardless of what profession a person is in when you have unprotected sex with somene you are risking your life. It is stark and simple as that!
If being intoxicated effects your judgement on such things than perhaps you would be well advised to not mix alcohol and sex.
Wise up...if you are mature enough to have sex you are mature enough to use a condom. The fault is on you.
Yes, you can sue her provided you contracted an STD from her and she knew she was infected or even suspected she might be infected but did not tell you. There are several STD litigation cases pending in the U.S. courts. One woman received a 1.5 million dollar settlement from a boyfriend who gave her HPV, the case is Rossiter vs. Evans and you can read about the case on the site I referenced below.

First things first, get yourself to a doctor to see if it is an STI. It could be a UTI (urinary tract infection) instead, which would be much less complicated and easily treated.
As far as I know, asking if you have a case on Yahoo Answers is probably not as reliable as talking to your friend's dad and seeing what he thinks about it. He'll likely have more knowledge of precedents and should be able to give you a more accurate view of your situation than anyone here.
