What could be causing my horribly cracked, dry, swollen hands?
My dermatologist thinks I may be allergic to something but I am not sure that this is the answer...I don't know! How can I figure it out? Has anyone else had this problem? I was using some type of steroid cream, but it wasn't helping. So, I went to another doctor and got a lactic acid lotion which helped clear up a lot of the dryness but the skin is still cracking and my hands are very painful. I have another appointment with the skin doc in a week or so, but any thoughts or information you out there might have will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder.
