What spray/stuff should I rub on my skin/clothing in case I encounter a bee hive!

What spray/stuff should I rub on my skin/clothing in case I encounter a bee hive when cutting the yard?
I want to prevent a tragedy to my family and me.

You mean to prevent getting stung? Or to treat a bee sting?
Unless you encounter africanized bees, you should be ok anyways. I have two bee hives in my back yard. Some carpenter bees are in a tree right next to the house and some honey bees further back. Neither bug me, but I dont bug them. However, the one of the latter stung a guy who was trying rake out leaves by their hive. If you will be near their hive and making noise, etc., wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and one of those bee masks....or hire someone to come out and spray. If you live in the US, no one will probably do that because the bees are disappearing this summer.
