I have a swollen throat and i cant swallow anything without it hurting like hell my mouth is also really dry?

sounds like you had a allergic reaction to something. or you have a sever sore throat you might have strep or something deeper. do you get itchy in your throat do you only have pain when you eat or swallow in general does your voice come and go or is it frogy? the reason for my questions to you is that i am taking medication for a sever sore throat that causes all this and pain in my neck my ears eyes nose so see doctor if you have any of these problems. and try not to talk so much that helps. for the dry mouth get some medicated throat lozenges.
