Chronic yeast infection?!

Question: Chronic yeast infection!?
Ever since the late fall of 2006 I have had what I can only imagine to be chronic yeast infections!. It started as very very painful itching and burning after having sex with my boyfriend at the time, but after many tests, any STDs were ruled out!. The only symptoms I have now are those of a yeast infection, yet no medicine seems to be strong enough to cure it! I've thrown out my underwear and bought new ones, I only wash down there with water or Cetephyl (which I was told to use by a gyno b/c it's unscented and good for sensitive skin) and I've seen about 3-4 differenty gynos!. Not one can figure out what's going on!. Anyone out there who can help!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Purchase some probiotic pills and take according to directions on the packaging!. These good bacteria should be able to concur the yeast overload of that's really what it is!. Have you also been tested for bacterial vaginosis!? Also if you have unprotected sex with your boyfriend you can be passing it back and forth to each other!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes the way you have sex can cause yeast infections!. First of all try to pee before you have sex and immediately after you have sex!. It reduces the risk of bacteria, and helps create an unfavorable environment for bacteria!. Also, if you have anal sex, don't put it back in the vagina until he cleans up!. Sometimes certain jellies, oils, condoms, birth control pills, or contraceptive methods can cause yeast infections!. Birth control pills especially can make you more prone to infection!. But I've gotten yeast infections very bad before, from basically all of the above, so I've learned my lesson!. And I haven't had one in like almost a year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If anyone you'd think the Gyno would have the answer!? Maybe try Vagisil or something !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. One of the most common infections causing vaginal discharge is Candidiasis!.
2!. Candidiasis or 'yeast infection' is a fungus!. The vast majority of cases are caused by Candida albicans; the Candida species normally resides in the vaginal flora of approximately 25% of women!.
3!. Many bacteria normally live in the vagina!. Under normal circumstances, there is a balance among the different types of bacteria!. If the balance is disrupted, an overgrowth of one of the organisms may occur!. When the balance tips in favor of Candida, a vaginal yeast infection may occur!. Antibiotics can kill off the good bacteria in the vagina, and antibiotics are a common cause of yeast infections!. Also, anything that stresses the immune system, such as diabetes, may also cause a yeast infection!.
