Lump in throat and cold symptoms?!

Question: Lump in throat and cold symptoms!?
Today when I woke up I felt like I had a lump in my throat!. For the past 3 days now, I've also had a really bad cough, and a runny nose!. I can't actually feel a lump in my throat but when I swallow it hurts worse!. What could it be!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Along the sides of your throat are lymph nodes!. Be glad that they are swollen!. They are filled with whatever is making you sick, being broken down by your body's defenses in an effort to heal you!. Your body is working!. Give it some time!.

It's not cancer!.

Most colds are self resolving in about 7-10 days!. If you have a fever, then you may need antibiotics and some ibuprofen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Differential: Bubonic Plague (not as likely, try touching your lumps!.!.!. if they are really swollen and they really hurt), could be S!. Pharyngitic (strep throat), Laryngitis, or possibly Haemophilius Influenzae infection!.

These are just suggestions, from the runny nose and 'really bad cough' it is hard to say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
