a sudden alergy or intolerance, i've never had this problem before and i'm in better health than i've ever been. i recently find even a little red wine gives me a headache, serious depression, aches in my legs and i get terribly congested in my sinuses. I'm a bit baffled as to this sudden change, could this be an allergy?

The same happened to me 12 years ago and I haven't been able to drink it since. I mentioned it to my doctor who simply said that it is quite common to develop a wine allergy (red or white or both though red is most common) particularly if you have been a regular wine drinker in the past. My theory is that I used up my lifetime's supply of wine units early in life & now have to stick to beer!
