Is one born a "quadriplegia?!
Question:
Is one born a "quadriplegia?
Or does one become one?
Answers:
Not often. Most quadriplegics have had spinal cord injuries. There is a birth condition of the spinal cord called spina bifida. It usually affects the legs not the arms too. Babies are born with a large "bubble" or bag of clear spinal fluid sticking out their back.
