Sometimes white dots on your arms or legs, measuring about 3mm across, are caused by anti-tetanus injections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello, two causes come to mind!. One is a fungal infection like ringworm (tinea corporis or tinea versicolor) that will cause loss of pigmentation in a spot!. This would resolve with antifungal medication, but the pigmentation would need some time to return to that area after treatment!. Doubt versicolor since this produces multiple spots!.
The other cause is trauma such as a minor burn or abrasion that then leaves an area that lacks pigmentation!. If this does not resolve on its own, a treatment can be done where electrocautery is applied at a very low level and very superficially to produce a fine cautery over the area, then this will slough off and normal pigmented skin grows over on the spot(s)
But also, it could just be an area of minor hypopigmentation that occurs naturally and is of no concern; just leave it alone if not cosmetically a problem!.

On another note, anyone who applies topical corticosteroids to skin can develop a white spot from the medication!. This means stop the steroid since it is causing a problem of atrophy!. This is a reason why topical steroids have to be used very carefully if at all, and better to avoid use on the face, underarms, or groin where the steroid is more absorbed and causes more potential skin damage!.

I have the same thing! Its not a big deal it's called Vitiligo or something like that!. It just means you have parts of skin where you have no pigment! It will probably go away by itself!! I have a couple of them! I have one spot on the back of my neck and it leads up into my hair so I have a white strand of hair!!! lol It's no big deal!!! Hope I helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If its always been there its problem just loss of pigmentation!. I have one too, it wont even tan!. If its new then get it looked at by a doc just to be safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
