VERY bad cough.. need help!?

I've had a very bad cough for about 10 days now. Its a hacking cough and sometimes sounds so bad almost like I am going to throw up on myslef. I will cough about once every ten minutes. This continues throughout the entire day all 24 hours even as I am trying to sleep. My throat is not that sore though. Sometimes it is a little harder to breath than usual. It is getting unbearable. Is this serious? T.B, Bronchitis?

nope.. not coughing up phlem or anything.. thats why its weird. Dont smoke either. Any home remedies? Tea or something? I dont have health insurance so I havent gone to doctors office but maybe I will. =)

It could very well be asthma as this is the sysmpotns that i will have when i have a flare up. I never bring anything up I would recommend bring this up to you docs attin so that you can discuss what it might be. It might be serious so I would recommend calling the doc and leting him know about it so they can decide as to what it might be also what type of testing might need to be done
