Super painful tick bite?!
Question: Super painful tick bite!?
I was walking in the woods earlier today, checked for ticks and I thought I had none but I guess I was wrong!. A few hours later my back was itchy and when I went to scratch it, felt a little bump freaked out, ripped the tick off (which was still moving around) and threw it in the grass!. I now have a decent size red scab on my back (i guess i ripped some skin off with it) and the skin around it is swollen as well like a little bump!. It is also pretty painful!. Is this normal for a tick bite!? Should I go to a doctor tomorrow to get it checked out!? Should I just leave it alone!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

you shuold go to the doctor!. it can carry limes disease and idk what else!. if the pain gets worse or if u feel sick at all definatly go to the doc, is the head still in there!? if the head is still in there, then its still alive!. that is why they say to burn the tick off instead of ripping it off!.!.!.get it looked at by someone else in good lighting and a magnifing lense since u maybe cant see it idk!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a red ring appearing around the tick bite may indicated lyme disease , and would definitely have it looked atWww@Answer-Health@Com
