Do people over the age of 65 have a better chance of surving breast cancer?!

Question:

Do people over the age of 65 have a better chance of surving breast cancer?

Answers:

Quoting from the URL below (which in turn quotes the American Cancer Society): "While breast cancer is less common at a young age (i.e., in their thirties), younger women tend to have more aggressive breast cancers than older women, which may explain why survival rates are lower among younger women." So women under 45 have an 81% chance of surviving breast cancer, 45-64 yrs it's 85%, and 65+ yrs it's 86%. The differences are not that big, it's much more important to catch breast cancer at its early stages, that's when your survival rate is great. That's why mammography screening is so important.
