Question: Chest pain occuring and now i have developed a bad cough that causes pain!?
Ive been having these chest pains for a week now!. i went to the doctor and got on naprelan 750mg, and anti inflamatory med scientific named naproxen sodium!. yesterday night and continuing on to today i have got a bad cough now!. like when i cough its really hoarse and makes my chest hurt!. its like at the bottom in the middle of my rib cage, where the pain is now settled at!.
do you think this can be because of the medicine!? could it be a symptom of somethin else!? my doc has come to 3 differnt illness of which he think it may be, costochondrias, angina, and lupus!.

Well, it very well could be unrelated, however, I would need to ask questions of you to know!.
When you breathe in deep, does it feel like you have less air capacity than normal!?
When you reach a point of lower-than-normal capacity, do you start coughing like nuts!?
Is it a wet cough or dry!?
What is the color of anything you are coughing up!?
The only *I* can associate coughing and chest pain is from when I've worked with patients that have had AMIs (heart attacks!.) Sometimes, they will end up with fluid buildup in their lungs, causing them to cough, but more seriously, have extreme difficulty breathing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was at the hospital Friday Night for something kinda like this!.
i have respiratory infection!.go back to the doctor and tell them what is going on!.!.!.
