Need to kill head lice but have no money to buy the stuff?
Is there anything I could do to kill head lice, I won't have money for a few more days and want to get rid of them now! My sister just moved back home two days ago and we found lice in her hair today and she's been sleeping in my room! How do I clean my beddings, carpet, pillows and my hair if i don't have the money to buy the products right now. is there anything i can do, like home remedies? Please I need help. I hate lice! they freak me out!

An old home remedy for head lice is rather uncomfortable, but pretty effective. What you have to do is douse your roots in olive oil and leave it there for days. It will keep the lice from laying any more eggs on your scalp and make your head a rather unwelcome place for them to live. They only like clean heads, contrary to popular belief, because it's hard to attach their eggs to the shaft of a dirty or oily hair. My suggestion would be to invest in a shower or swim cap as well. That will keep the oil from geting all over. You need to clean everything thoroughly... bed sheets, towels you've used, vaccuum the carpets like a neurotic OCD... those little buggers can get everywhere. That's the only home remedy I can think of for you right now. I hope you have a friend or family member you can borrow a couple bucks from to buy Ridd until you get paid again... you shouldn't have to suffer.
