Hepatitis c?

I have hepatitis c. If I am scratched by my cat and she scratches my loved ones or anybody else can it be transmitted to them or to the cat?


Answers:

I have never heard of a case transmitted that way, but I suppose in theory it could happen. That's why we don't want to share toothbrushes and razors with other people in the household. Hep C virus can live outside the human body for an extended time (some sources say 4 days, some say 7). Best wishes.
