Big nose question. This one is for people who have Greek noses...?!

Question:

Big nose question. This one is for people who have Greek noses...?

I am Greek, and no one in my imediate family has a big nose. It's just not in my family for some reason. My husbands family on the other hand, has a lot of greek noses. Even my husband's is slightly larger.
So this is my question. Are you born with it showing imediately, or does your nose get a bump and grow large when you get older. My daughter is five, and she has a small cute nose, that looks like mine. Is her nose going to change? She is Five Years old.
I see what an effect it has had on my sister in-law (having a big nose) And I just don't want my daughter to go through the same emotional problems from all of that.
Its my idea that if she was going to have a big nose, it would have shown up by now right?

I am in no way worried. I am just curious. And Yes...Judgeing by how my sister in-law acts and talks, it DOES affect people on a very emotional way.
My daughters nose in NOT "Ethnic Greek" in any way. I am just curious.
And if it was, I am a very loving mother, and have raised her in a home filled with confidence, love, and support. She is beautiful to me in any shape or form God gave her to me!

Answers:

Noses, ears and feet continue to grow throughout life. That said, as a Greek girl, you can't tell my nose (I have a small, kinda button nose). However, it's kind of offensive to our heritage to assume she will have emotional problems IF her nose gets big. You should change your thinking from "big nose" to "ethnic nose." Italians and Jews also stereotypically have larger noses. And they, along with the Greeks, are some of the most beautiful people on Earth! =)
