Question: Can allergies cause you to have a sore throat!?
See, here in my house, there's alot of things like dust, animal hair, ect!. And my allergies act up pretty bad once in a while!. And it did last night, I'd say around 7 PM it started!. The usual runny/itchy nose, sneezing, itchy/watery eyes!. And that lasted for a few hours and it was longer and more severe than usual!. It finally went away about 3 in the morning!. But today, I woke up with a little bit of a stuffy nose, but not too bad!. It went away quickly after waking up!. But I also had woken up with a sore throat and sinus blockage, like my ears are plugged up, and stuff like that, just not my nose!. Anyway, I still have a sore throat and all and it feels like a cold, but I know it has to be linked to my allergy attack last night!. Can allergies cause a sore throat like I'm experiencing!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the same problems for years, and put it down to hayfever and other conditions i have, but my immunologist suggest an allergy test, and i found out i had a huge reaction to the common house dustmites, and even grass!.!.!.my house, especially my bedroom was making me very sick!. They suggested i removed carpet, and rugs, replace curtains for venetians or similiar product!. Also your pillow and bedding should be replaced for dustmite/allergy free products!. I also use a dust mask when cleaning up around the house!. There is also a special vacuum cleaner (dyson) which I am saving for - which is good for allergy sufferers!. YES!.!.!.sinuses drain and they cause a sore throat!. When you sleep and they drain they will rest on your tonsils if you still have them!. Even if you don't the drainage sits in Your throat!. try using a COLD Humidifier in your room (cold water) It will give you moisture especially if you room is dry and you have pet dander and dust!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
