Question: My mom might have breast cancer, can she get by it!?
I just found out my mom could possibly have breast cancer, she hasn't had a biopsy yet but they said she could most definitely have it, now she says shes scared of the results, but not dieing, but i am scared :(, its not going to be the same, im only 16 and coming home to an empty house is going to feel bad, shes the only person who can make me laugh, we talk all the time, shes been living with these lumps in her breast since of August 2007, will she be ok!? :( please explain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well first, she hasn't been diagnosed so try not to worry yet!.
Most breast lumps aren't cancerous!.
If she does have breast cancer there are, I'm afraid, no guarantees; nobody can assure you, as some people have here, that she will be fine!.
If she's diagnosed a lot will depend on the stage and grade of her cancer - it's on the basis of things like that that her treatment will be decided!.
I can tell you my experience!. I was diagnosed almost 5 years ago with stage 3 grade 3 breast cancer - that's advanced and aggressive!. I had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy, and I'm currently fit and well with no sign of cancer at my last check up!. Like your mum, I lived with my lump for several months before I got it checked!.
Through breast cancer support networks I have got to know many women who have survived as long as I have and longer - some much longer!. I won't lie to you, I've also met a few who didn't make it!.
But the survival rates from breast cancer continue to improve!. Now is not the time to worry about losing your mum; it's supporting her through her tests and results that's important!.

Yes ! The world that we live in today is a world far removed from the early days of cancer recognition some 35 to 40 years ago !. Most breast cancer victims today survive the ordeal !. The vast majority actually survive although some go through some pretty bad stuff in their treatments and medications !.
Much research has been done that absolutely proves the healing power and effects of prayer !. Let your mom know that you are praying for her and say it in an uplifting , encouraging manner , not in a hopeless way in which some do !. Then pray !. Ask God to heal her !. The Bible says and this is God speaking of Himself !. I am the Lord which heals you !. Believe it , act on it (pray) and ask others to do likewise !. She better have it checked out and dealt with ASAP!. By not doing anything she's ensuring that she'll die from it!. The sooner you get it taken care of the better your chances are!. I'm sure you've heard of breast cancer survivors!. They are the ones who get it taken care of right away -- before it can spread all over!. My own mother had breast cancer when I was 10!. She had a mastectomy and chemotherapy and got rid of it!. She is still alive and healthy now, 27 years later!. It never came back!. My grandma, on the other hand, she died from breast cancer because when she found out about it she freaked and refused to go to the doctor or do anything!. It killed her!. Dont' worry until you know the results for sure!. And even then, many people are just fine and make it out of cancer!. There are many support groups you can go to, as well as online forums and chat groups for people going through what you're going through!. your mom will be fine!. there are so many good doctors out there theses days im sure she is going to be in great shape she will deffienetly make it!.
Just remember im not sure if you christian and im not trying to change religous thoughts but i believe with god anything is possible!. Just pray and everything will turn out fine!.

She can very well survive,I have a dear friend who has had it twice and she is still living!.These days there are so many treatments for this cancer!.Be there for your mom and care for and Pray,I hope she beats this and lives a very long and healthy life,Many Blessing to you and your Mom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wait till the biopsy results first, there can be many other causes of breast lumps!. Even if it is that certainly doesnt mean she will die, so hang in OK and be strong as u can for her!.
