Question: What can cause severe swelling to an entire arm!?
Swelling began within 12 hours of a minor scratch to the elbow!. Don't know what it was scratched on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the entire arm to swell up is unusual but will happen in cases of a severe allergic reaction or bacterial infection!.
Go see a MD right away!.

definitely get it checked asap!. A few months ago I had a small scratch near the corner of my mouth that I thought was nothing!. Within in a few hours my face had swelled terribly and I was in intense pain!. It turned out to be staph infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
